JOB PURPOSE

1. Evaluate and/or approve credit proposal and ensure asset quality of the account.
2. Strategize and manage team activities to be in line with Division objective.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
(Please list in brief and concise statements (6 to 8) the key accountabilities of the position)
1. Review and evaluate commercial applications in accordance to the Credit Policy and Credit Guidelines.
2. Approving Authority as per Approving Authority Matrix (AAM).
3. Review and present MCC paper for MCC decision.
4. Ensure the applications submitted by Branches are processed by Credit Analyst/Senior Credit Analyst within the TAT charter.
5. Supervise, track and monitor team performance/competencies under her/his team.
6. Provide training/coaching/guidance to Credit Analyst/Senior Credit Analyst on daily tasks.
7. Assist in developing and improving the overall credit process to be more effective and efficient.
8. Assume responsibility of other relevant tasks as assigned from time to time inclusive of attending to guarantee applications.
9. Other roles as and when assigned: -
a. Designated Compliance Officer (DCO) – become a central point of contact for communicating with Compliance Department regarding issues related to department compliance program.
b. Assistant Risk Coordinator (if any) – contact point for risk matters including BCP.
c. Advisory roles for Branches

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Qualification : Minimum a Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Accounting,
Economic or equivalent in related fields
Experience : Minimum of 7- 10 years relevant experiences.
Knowledge : Credit Management, Credit Risk and Financial Analysis.
Skills/
Competencies :
1. Excellent writing and communication skills, strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical thinking as well as presentation skills.
2. Ability to customize best practices to suit the department strategies
3. Strong leadership skills and teamwork oriented.
4. Ability to build strong relationship with key internal stakeholders.
5. Able to handle/manage multitasks and deliver on tight deadline.
